As a city, Tokyo is well known for its high-rise towers and many forms of intersections, whether the intersection is highway to highway or tower to tower.
The Apartment Station in Koya, Matsudo-shi, is an apartment situated near a railway station. The building is constituted of residential apartments, a hotel and a restaurant, which enhances the idea of layering different functions in a single project.
In Beirut, namely Nahr el-Kalb to Jbeil highway, the project intends to construct an elevated green park in order to reduce traffic along with interventions that are located based on users needs.
Access to the elevated park is provided with ramps at specific locations where possible. The strip is divided into three parks, leisure park, green park, and the educational park that includes a pathway around old historical Lebanese houses.
The concept is the revival the previously existing train station in Lebanon and encouraging people to engage with the newly elevated park.
